Maybe they added some more urban sounds but I'm hoping there is a MIDI program that can do it all as BIAB seemed focused on actual audio trax. All tempo functions one would expect to see-including halve/double. Preview 120+ file types without downloading and easily search for files and folders. Other than programs like Band in a Box, support for jazz notation and performance. But you couldn't extract the midi, it was locked into the brain and totally unavailable for tweaking in CW. Steinbergs music notation program, Dorico, has a fascinating history. (My MIDI programs dont evolve pass the prototype stage, Im sorry to say).

Long time Cakewalk user here and owner of BIAB from around 2010? I was wondering if there were similar types of song creation software like BIAB out there? Ideally something similar to my old Yamaha keyboard where you could pick a "style", play one note and it would give you full multi-instrument accompaniment along with beginnings, endings, bridges, etc. Prozac and Ritalin swept the nation and much of the great musical talent never got the recognition they deserved due to a society that was allowed to stop caring. using backing tracks (maybe > with apps like Band in a box or iReal Pro.
